MOT Testing

Your MOT is a legal requirement for any vehicle over three years old, and it’s designed to make sure your car meets the minimum safety and environmental standards required to be on the road.

Our testers are fully qualified and test to DVSA standards, giving you an honest, impartial result every time.

What does an MOT cover?

An MOT checks over 40 components of your vehicle, including:

• Brakes and brake performance
• Lights, indicators and horn
• Steering and suspension
• Windscreen, wipers and washers
• Tyres (tread depth, condition and fit)
• Exhaust emissions
• Seatbelts and mirrors
• Bodywork (for sharp edges or damage that could cause injury)

Top tip: Don’t wait until your MOT is due. Book it a few weeks before the expiry date — if it passes early, your new expiry date still runs from the original due date, so you lose nothing.
